Argentinian survives lightning strike after hiding under a tree

In what could be classified as a miracle, Gabriel Berón, 26, survived a lightning strike during a storm early in the morning of January 6, 2024, in a park in Villa Mercedes in the Argentine province of Saint Louis.

Thanks to a video uploaded to Channel 6 TV’s Twitter account, it can be seen how the young man stands under a tree in the park seconds before being struck by lightning.

Immediately, his friends called an ambulance to take Berón to the Verónica Bailone hospital. Here, it was found that the young man suffered burns to his abdomen and left thigh.
